2 How to Create a Deployment Database Setting up Software Lists (HP ConfigTailor 1.1 Only) 2 The Open Software List window will appear, as below. Select the software list that you wish to modify. NOTE 3 You will return to the Software List Manager window. The packages included in the software list will appear in the scrolling window to the right. The scrolling window on the left shows all of the drivers and software packages applicable to the selected platform in the deployment database. You can add or remove packages from the software list by highlighting the package and clicking either on Add or Remove. 4 When you have finished the desired modifications, in the "Software list" menu, select Save, or click on the Save icon on the menu bar, to save your software list. Deleting a software list Before removing a software list, you must first ensure that it is not linked to any configuration profiles. To unlink a software list from a configuration profile, refer to page 26. The Open Software List window will appear, as below. Select the
software list that you wish to modify.

You will return to the Software List Manager window. The packages

and software packages applicable to the selected platform in the
deployment database. You can add or remove packages from the
software list by highlighting the package and clicking either on Add
or Remove.

When you have finished the desired modifications, in the “Software
list” menu, select Save, or click on the Save icon on the menu bar, to
save your software list.
Deleting a software list
NOTE
Before removing a software list, you must first ensure that it is not
linked to any configuration profiles. To unlink a software list from a
configuration profile, refer to page 26.
To delete a software list:

Open the software list you wish to delete, either from the Software
List Manager introduction window (shown on page 16) or by
selecting “Open” in the “Software list” menu of the Software List
manager window.
