5 Troubleshooting Common Problems Problems Related to the Creation of, or Installation from, a Deployment Database If you do not want this error message to be displayed, in 'Remote Access Information', identify your PC as Member of Workgroup, instead of Member of Domain, to run the Remote Install. When complete, identify your PC as member of Domain (read above). One of the following errors occurs: 'Error 502: NET USE Command Failed. Unable to connect to the Software Server' or 'Error 509:NET USE Command Failed. Unable to connect to the Operating Systems Server'. These errors can occur during client tasks (such as when booting from the HP ConfigTailor CD-ROM, or in Remote Install/Recover), after having entered information about the configuration profile and the remote server where the deployment database is stored (see "Remote Installation from a Deployment Database to a Client PC workstation", Step 4, on page 44.) The probable cause for these errors is that the NetBEUI protocol is not available on either the Software Server (Error 502) or on the Operating Systems Server (Error 509). Contact your system administrator to add this protocol on the concerned Server. Not enough space available on hard disk. During client tasks, such as when performing a 'Remote Install/Recover' or a 'Local Install/Recover', you may get two types of error messages from Microsoft Windows NT: • 'Not enough room on the Hard Disk'. • A message stating that Windows NT cannot find some files. These error messages occur during the copy phase onto the client PC workstation hard disk drive, because there was not enough space to copy the required files. 56 English

One of the following errors occurs: 'Error 502: NET USE
