Chapter 4 Accessories Upgrade Video Memory You can upgrade video memory from the standard 1 MB to the optional 2 MB. To do so, the following steps are necessary: WARNING The video memory upgrade chips must be oriented correctly, and it is possible to insert them into their sockets backwards (turned by 180 degrees). Doing so will cause the chips to fail, and may create an overtemperature hazard on the board. Open the top cover and remove the system board. Upgrade Video Memory
