Verify that the SCSI cable is securely plugged into the SCSI controller board. Narrow (50-pin) SCSI devices require the wideto-narrow SCSI adapter with the white body on the SCSI cable. Check that the boot device is enabled in the Hardware Security submenu under the Security menu of the Setup utility. If possible, check the drive by moving it to another system. If the problem persists, contact your HP support organization. Verify that the boot device has an operating system installed. Check that the keyboard is connected to the correct connector (not the mouse connector) at the rear of the system. Replace the keyboard. If the problem persists, contact your HP support organization.
