They may seep under it and damage the unit. 3 Dry the glass with a chamois or cellulose sponge to prevent spotting. clean the adf glass The small glass strip to the left of the main glass surface is for processing jobs fed from the ADF. Streaks can occur if the glass strip is dirty.
