Fan sink Description Fan sink for use in 400 and 490 models, standard Fan sink for use in 490 models, BFR/PVC free Spare part number 745054-001 748826-001 WARNING! To reduce risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the internal system components to cool before touching. NOTE: System board appearance may vary. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 42). 2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 43). 3. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board connector labeled CPUFAN (1), and then loosen the four silver captive Torx T15 screws that secure the heat sink to the system board. CAUTION: Remove fan sink retaining screws in diagonally opposite pairs (as in an X) to even the downward forces on the processor. The pins on the socket are very fragile and any damage to them may require replacing the system board. 80 Chapter 5 Removal and replacement procedures: Microtower
