Remote support and analysis tools HP Insight Remote Support software HP strongly recommends that you install HP Insight Remote Support software to complete the installation or upgrade of your product and to enable enhanced delivery of your HP Warranty, HP Care Pack Service, or HP contractual support agreement. HP Insight Remote Support supplements your monitoring continuously to ensure maximum system availability by providing intelligent event diagnosis, and automatic, secure submission of hardware event notifications to HP, which will initiate a fast and accurate resolution, based on your product's service level. Notifications may be sent to your authorized HP Channel Partner for onsite service, if configured and available in your country. Keeping the system current Drivers IMPORTANT: Always perform a backup before installing or updating device drivers. To install a SmartStart-supported OS, use the SmartStart software (on page 67) and its Assisted Path feature to install the OS and latest driver support. If you are installing drivers from the SmartStart CD, be sure that you are using the latest SmartStart version that your server supports. To verify that your server is using the latest supported version, see the HP website (http://www.hp.com/go/foundation). For more information, see the documentation provided with the SmartStart CD. If you do not use the SmartStart CD to install an OS, drivers for some of the new hardware are required.
