• Setting the controller to be the boot controller If you do not use the utility, ORCA will default to the standard configuration. For more information regarding array controller configuration, refer to the controller user guide. For more information regarding the default configurations that ORCA uses, refer to the HP ROM-Based Setup Utility User Guide on the Documentation CD. HP ROM-Based Setup Utility RBSU is a configuration utility embedded in ProLiant servers that performs a wide range of configuration activities that can include the following: • Configuring system devices and installed options • Enabling and disabling system features • Displaying system information • Selecting the primary boot controller • Configuring memory options • Language selection For more information on RBSU, see the HP ROM-Based Setup Utility User Guide on the Documentation CD or the HP website (http://www.hp.com/support/smartstart/documentation). ROMPaq utility The ROMPaq utility enables you to upgrade the system firmware (BIOS). To upgrade the firmware, insert a ROMPaq USB Key into an available USB port and boot the system. In addition to ROMPaq, Online Flash Components for Windows and Linux operating systems are available for updating the system firmware. The ROMPaq utility checks the system and provides a choice (if more than one exists) of available firmware revisions. For more information, see the Download drivers and software page for the server. This tool has the following features: • Works offline and online • Supports Microsoft® Windows NT®, Windows® 2000, Windows Server® 2003, Novell Netware, and Linux operating systems Diagnostic tools 81
