Vacuum bottom of carriage (monthly) Clumps of ink and debris can accumulate around the printheads, where the service station's printhead wiper does not reach. This routine uses the printer's internal printhead vacuum cleaner to clean as much of this surface area as possible. This reduces the possibility of ink debris moving from the edge of the printhead orifice area onto the printhead, which can clog jets. 1. From the printer's menu, select System page > Tools > User Cleaning and Maintenance), select Vacuum Bottom of Carriage. 2. Press Proceed to continue. 3.
