Removing the Front Bezel The top front Bezel must be removed to install/remove mass storage devices into the upper drive shelves (first four shelves or common trays) of the Server. 1. Once you have removed the left side cover, locate the front bezel release tabs just behind the front bezel. See Figure 3-3. 2. Pull the release tabs outward, releasing the front bezel and pulling the tabs/front bezel forward. This will swing open the front bezel on its hinge teeth as shown in Figure 3-3. 3. Swing the front bezel completely open and remove it from the front of the Server. 19

Removing the Front Bezel
The top front Bezel must be removed to install/remove mass storage devices into
the upper drive shelves (first four shelves or common trays) of the Server.
1. Once you have removed the left side cover, locate the front bezel release tabs
just behind the front bezel. See Figure 3-3.
2. Pull the release tabs outward, releasing the front bezel and pulling the
tabs/front bezel forward.
This will swing open the front bezel on its hinge teeth as shown in Figure 3-3.
3. Swing the front bezel completely open and remove it from the front of the
Server.
