Check for bent pins on any of the connectors and carefully straighten any bent pins. b. If mounting a SCSI hard drive, ensure it is not terminated and set the SCSI ID jumper for address = ID 1. Refer to the documentation provided with the hard drive. 6. Remove the two side rails from the vacant space in the drive tray and screw them to the new hard drive. See Figure 3-7. The screws are located just above the drive cage. NOTE If the hard disk drive you are planning to install already has a mounting bracket attached, you must remove it in order to attach the side rails to the drive. NOTE
If the hard disk drive you are planning to install already has a mounting bracket attached,
