Download the latest drivers from HP Support Web: www.hp.com/go/vectrasupport Use your operating system's System Tools to defragment your hard disk or perform ScanDisk. 1 Turn off the PC and disconnect the power cord. 2 Remove the cover. 3 Set the system board switch 5 (Clear CMOS) to ON to clear the configuration. 4 Replace the cover, and reconnect the power cord. 5 Turn on the PC. This will erase the CMOS memory. 6 Wait until the PC has started. A message will be displayed saying that the configuration has been cleared. 7 Turn off the PC, disconnect the power cord, and remove the cover. 8 Set the system board switch 5 (Clear CMOS) on the switch block to OFF to re- enable the configuration. 9 Replace the cover, and reconnect the power cord. 10 Switch on the PC. The PC may start more slowly than usual because it will load the default configuration values. 11 Press F2 to enter the Setup program. Update the necessary fields, such as the date and time, then save and exit the Setup program. The PC will restart with the new configuration. 22
