The CC provides a crossbar connection, which allows communication with other cell boards in the system. It connects to the PDH and SINC hardware. Each cell board holds up to 16 DIMMS. There can be one or two cell boards installed in a server. The cell boards have hot-plug capability. Chapter 1 3
