Installation Unpacking the Server Securing the Cabinet Once in position, secure and stabilize the cabinet using the leveling feet at the corners of the base and install the anti-tip mechanisms on the bottom front and rear of the rack. If no lifter is available, install the lift handle panels provided with the system. Unloading with a Lifter Use the following procedure to unload the server from the pallet using a lifter. WARNING Use caution when using a lifter. Because of the weight of the server, it must be centered on the lifter forks before raising it off the pallet to avoid injury. Never extend more than one server from the same cabinet while installing or servicing either an hp rp7405/rp7410 or another server product. Once in position, secure and stabilize the cabinet using the leveling feet at the corners of the base and install
the anti-tip mechanisms on the bottom front and rear of the rack.

NOTE
Hewlett-Packard recommends the use of a lifter, such as a RONI Company model 17000 SP 400
lifting device, when moving a non-racked system, shown in Figure 2-5. If no lifter is available,
install the lift handle panels provided with the system.
Unloading with a Lifter
Use the following procedure to unload the server from the pallet using a lifter.
WARNING
Use caution when using a lifter. Because of the weight of the server, it must be
centered on the lifter forks before raising it off the pallet to avoid injury.
Never extend more than one server from the same cabinet while installing or
servicing either an hp rp7405/rp7410 or another server product. Failure to follow
these instructions could result in the cabinet tipping over.
