Presenting from a Networked Computer To prepare your computer for networked presentations If you want to make presentations over a wired or wireless network connection, you must install additional software on your computer that provides networked presentation capabilities. 1. Be sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements: ■ Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP (Home, Professional, or Tablet PC edition) ■ 32 MB of RAM ■ 50 MB of free space on hard drive ■ CD-ROM drive ■ Wired Ethernet network adapter or wireless 802.11b adapter 2. Insert the software CD in the CD-ROM drive. 3. Click the option for installing the Wireless Presenter-to-Go software. Follow the displayed instructions. 4. Select the option to install the software on a computer. 5. If you receive warning messages that state the hardware has not passed the Windows Logo Testing, click Continue. You might need to do this more than once. 6. Click Finish. To set up your computer for a wired network connection (optional) ✎ You do not have to change your computer to use the same network as the projector. When you make a presentation using Wireless Presenter-to-Go, the software can connect to a projector on any network. If you are connecting to a projector through an established network, your computer is probably ready to connect. See "To start a presentation" on page 24 to find out how to connect to the projector. Presenting from a Networked Computer
To prepare your computer for networked presentations
If you want to make presentations over a wired or wireless network connection, you
must install additional software on your computer that provides networked
presentation capabilities.
1.
Be sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements:
Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP (Home, Professional, or Tablet PC edition)
