Network and Sharing Mobile Internet Using mobile data Enabling mobile data Before enabling mobile data, ensure that you have activated mobile data services with your carrier. 1 Open Settings. 2 Touch More > Mobile network. 3 Switch on Mobile data to enable mobile data. Disable mobile data when not required to save battery power and reduce data usage. Enabling 4G Before enabling 4G, ensure that you have activated 4G services with your carrier and that you are using a 4G SIM card. 1 Open Settings. 2 Touch More and switch on Enable 4G to enable 4G. Enabling VoLTE Enable VoLTE (Voice over LTE) to make high-quality audio and video calls over 4G networks. 1 Open Settings. 2 Touch More > Mobile data. 3 Switch on VoLTE calls. Enabling data roaming Enable data roaming to access the Internet when you travel abroad. You may incur roaming charges when data roaming is enabled.
