Figure 4-8 Driver configuration menu There are repeated entries for the Ethernet and SCSI drivers, as the machine has two Ethernet ports and two SCSI channels. The selections in this menu are described below. Configuring PCI IDE/ATAPI Bus Driver This option allows you to enable or disable IDE devices. The options are simple yes or no answers. See figure Figure 4-9 for an example. Enable Primary Master (Y/N)? -->Y Enable Primary Slave (Y/N)? -->N Enable Secondary Master (Y/N)? -->N Enable Secondary Slave (Y/N)? --> Figure 4-9 Configuring PCI IDE/ATAPI Bus Driver When this is complete you will be prompted to press Enter to restart the controller. This restarts the controller and rescans all the devices in the machine. Configuring Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet Driver There were no options available as the time of writing; selecting 02 or 03 returns you immediately to the EFI Firmware Boot Manager.
