Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition Setup The partition you selected is not formatted. Setup will now format the partition. Use the UP and DOWN ARROW keys to select the file system you want, and then press ENTER. If you want to select a different partition for Windows, press ESC. Format the partition using the NTFS file system (Quick) Format the partition using the FAT file system (Quick) Format the partition using the NTFS file system Format the partition using the FAT file system Figure 4-44 Formatting screen Choose an option then follow the instructions to complete the text-mode portion of the installation. At the end of the text-mode portion, a new Windows entry is added to the EFI Firmware Boot Manager menu. After you restart the system at the end of text-mode setup, the entry is launched automatically. (If Windows does not boot automatically, select it from the EFI Firmware Boot Manager menu.) GUI setup Complete the standard Windows Server 2003 installation as per the instructions on the screen and those provided in the product documentation. This is similar to the installation of Windows 2000/2003 on IA-32 platforms. 4.3.4 Post-setup phase Once Windows has been installed, you should perform the following steps. Installing additional drivers Specific device drivers are available for the x455 that are not included with the base operating system.
