1.2 The x455 base models Powered by XA-64 Enterprise X-Architecture and the 64-bit Itanium 2 "Madison" processors, the x455 server brings the future of 64-bit processing and production-level reliability to your data centers today. Featuring mainframe-inspired advanced mission-critical functions, you can depend on these 16-way-capable enterprise servers to run your complex business applications around the clock. The initial models of the x455 are listed in Table 1-2.
