Page 94 highlights

The ServeRAID-6M is a 133 MHz PCI-X adapter and features two Ultra320 SCSI channels, according model 128 MB or 256 MB of battery-backed up ECC SDRAM cache memory, and an Intel 600 MHz xScale processor. Up to 28 Ultra320, Ultra160 and Ultra2 SCSI devices are supported. Each ServeRAID adapter supports up to 14 drives (4Mx have 160 MBps throughput and 6M has 320 MBps throughput) per channel. Multiple adapters can be installed as needs and available slots dictate. The EXP300 and the new EXP400 storage expansion units have a maximum 2 TB of disk storage (14 146.8 GB drives) in a 3U package, allowing up to 14 expansion units to be used in a standard 42U rack (meaning that a full rack of EXP300 or EXP400 units can hold an amazing 28 TB). EXP300 and EXP400 provide Predictive Failure Analysis (PFA) on key components, including hot-swap fans, hard drives, and redundant power supplies. The EXP300 is optimized for Ultra160 SCSI, with a sustained data transfer rate of 160 MBps, and the new EXP400 is optimized for Ultra320 SCSI, with a sustained data transfer rate of 320 MBps. Important: Check the tips in "Notes® on the use of RAID:" on page 108 before doing a installation.
