Exit back to the EFI Firmware Boot Manager. 6. The restore is now complete. Adding a boot option You are most likely to need to add a boot option in the following situations A default option has been deleted and needs re-adding. You have moved disks to another machine and have to update EFI with the required boot options. The system planar has been changed. You have developed a custom option that needs adding. Below are the steps to add an option for the most common of these situations where the disks have been moved to another machine. 1.
