6 GPS OPERATION (ADVANCED) GPS items Alarm Area (RX/Memory) (Default: Both) [MENU] > GPS > GPS Alarm > Alarm Area (RX/Memory) Selects the GPS active alarm range. When a target enters the active alarm range, the GPS Alarm sounds, and the GPS alarm icon blinks. LLWhen "Alarm Select" is set to "RX" or "Memory," this setting is enabled. (p. 6-43) •• Limited: The transceiver sounds 3 beeps, and the GPS Alarm icon blinks when the target enters the 500 meters range. •• Extended: The transceiver sounds 3 beeps, and the GPS Alarm icon blinks when the target enters the 1-kilometer range. •• Both: The transceiver sounds a beep, and the GPS Alarm icon blinks when the target enters the 1-kilometer range and sounds 3 beeps, and the icon blinks when it enters the 500 meters range. When the target exits the 500 meters range but is still in the 1-kilometer range, the icon continues to blink, but no beeps sound. This function logs the position, altitude, course, speed, and number of satellites being used. •• OFF: Turns OFF the function. •• ON: The transceiver automatically logs GPS data. Once this function is turned ON, the GPS data will be continuously logged until turning it OFF, even if the transceiver power is turned OFF, then ON again. LLThis function requires a microSD card (User supplied). LLWhen "GPS select" is set to "OFF" or "Manual," this function does not save the log. TIP: The log data is saved on the microSD card. The file name is automatically created, as shown below: •• Log start date and time: 1st November 2021 15:30:00 •• Filename: 20211101_153000.csv Record Interval (Default: 10sec) [MENU] > GPS > GPS Logger > Record Interval Sets the GPS Logger function record interval to 1, 5, 10, 30 seconds, or 1, 5, or 10 minutes.
