8 RECORDER FUNCTION Recording a QSO audio NOTE: •• You must insert a microSD card into the transceiver before recording audio. •• The recording function is continuously ON, even if the transceiver is turned OFF then ON again. To start recording 1. Push [QUICK]. 2. Select "." To stop recording 1. Push [QUICK]. 2. Select "." •• "Recording started." is displayed, then returns to the standby screen. Recording standby The recording starts when you transmit or the squelch opens. While recording, the SD card icon blinks. LLInformation •• The recording pauses while no signal is received, and resumes when a signal is received again. •• The recording continues until you manually stop recording, or the card becomes full. •• If the recording file's content reaches 2GB, the transceiver automatically creates a new file, and continues recording. TIP: •• You can select to record the received audio from only the MAIN band or both the MAIN and SUB bands. (p. 8-15) ([MENU] > RECORD > QSO Recorder > Recorder Set > REC Operation) •• When "RX REC Condition" is set to "Always," the recording automatically starts when "" is selected.
