RX REC Condition (Default: Squelch Auto) [MENU] > RECORD > QSO Recorder > Recorder Set > RX REC Condition Selects whether or not the squelch status affects the received voice audio recording. •• Always: The transceiver always records the receive voice audio regardless of the squelch status. •• Squelch Auto: T he transceiver records the receive voice audio only when a signal is received (the squelch is opened). When the squelch closes while recording, the recording will continue for 2 seconds, and then pause. File Split (Default: ON) [MENU] > RECORD > QSO Recorder > Recorder Set > File Split Turns the File Split function ON or OFF. •• OFF: O nce a recording starts, the transceiver continues to record on the same file. LLIf the file size exceeds 2 GB, a new file is automatically created in the same folder, and the voice audio is recorded there. •• ON: During recording, if transmission and reception, or squelch status* (open and close) is changed, a new file is automatically created in the same folder, and the voice audio is saved into a new file. * Only when "RX REC Condition" is set to "Squelch Auto." REC Operation (Default: A/B Link) [MENU] > RECORD > QSO Recorder > Recorder Set > REC Operation Selects the recording operation on the dual band display. •• A/B Separate: The recording function is separately active/inactive on the selected band (MAIN band) when the function is started or stopped. •• A/B Link: The recording function is simultaneously active/inactive on both MAIN and SUB bands when the function is started or stopped.  On the single band display, only displayed band (A or B) is recorded. 8-15
