LED Information The Intel® Server System SR1630GP / SR1630HGP includes LEDs that can aid in troubleshooting your system. Table 10 lists these LEDs and provides a description of their use. Table 10. LED Information LED Name ID System Fault Disk Activity POST Code 1-8 5-V Standby Power LED Function Aid in server identification from the back panel Visible fault warning Front panel Display boot 80 POST code Identify 5-V standby power on state Identify the power state of the system Location LED Color Notes Front panel and board rear left corner Front panel and board rear left corner Blue Green or Amber Press ID LED button or use Server Management software to turn the LED on and off. • On = No Fault • Green Blink = degraded • Amber = non-critical Front panel and board left side Green Blinking = Activity. No action required. Left rear of board Each LED can be Off, Green, Amber, or Red See the POST code table. Front left board Front panel Amber Green On = 5-V standby power on • Off = Power is off (off or S5) • On = Power on or S0) • Slow Blink = Low power state (S1 - S3) BIOS POST Beep Codes Table 11 lists the POST error beep codes. Prior to system video initialization, the BIOS uses these beep codes to inform users of error conditions. Please note that not all error conditions are supported by BIOS beep codes. Table 11.
