Before removing or replacing any memory DIMM, you must first take the server out of service, turn off all peripheral devices connected to the system, turn off the system by pressing the power button, and unplug the AC power cord from the system or wall outlet. The silkscreen on the board for the DIMMs displays DIMM A1, DIMM A2, DIMM B1, and DIMM B2 starting from the center of the board. See "Memory" on page 14 for a discussion of the memory requirements and options. Installing and Removing Memory
Caution:
The memory is NOT hot-swappable. Before removing or replacing any memory DIMM,
you must first take the server out of service, turn off all peripheral devices connected to
the system, turn off the system by pressing the power button, and unplug the AC power
cord from the system or wall outlet.
The silkscreen on the board for the DIMMs displays DIMM A1, DIMM A2, DIMM B1,
