Contents 36 MD Edit Functions MDX-F1 (EN) Operation 2 Input the title. 1 Select the group of the characters used in the title. DISPLAY /CHARAC. 2 Select a desired character by placing the selection cursor on it. 4 P.CALL¢ To return To advance 3 Press the SET key to enter the selected character. SET (Input the title characters by repeating 1 to 3 for each of them.) 3 Execute title assignment. 1 Press the ENTER key. ENTER The following types of characters, numbers, and symbols can be selected. Press the DISPLAY/CHARAC. key as often as required to display the desired group of characters. ÷ A~Z, space (1 blank character) ÷ a~z, space ÷ 0~9, symbols, space ÷ By pressing the 4 or ¢ key, the displayed characters are scrolled so any character (in the same group) can be selected. TITLE INPUT 4 After editing, eject and remove the mini disc. dISC KENWOOD | The title scrolls. 0 0 EJECT The MD operates on the basis of the information read from the disk into memory. After title input or editing, be sure to eject the minidisc so that the data is written in it by "WRITING". The "WRITING" display indicates that the recorded and edited data are written in the MD. Be careful not to apply impact to the unit during it. If the power cord is unplugged before completion of "WRITING", the recorded and/or edited data may be lost.
