MEMORY SCAN Memory Scan monitors Memory Channels in which you have stored frequencies. ALL-CHANNEL SCAN The transceiver scans all of the Memory Channels in which you have stored frequencies. 1 Press [MR] (1s). • Scan starts from the last Memory Channel number and ascends up through the channel numbers (default). • To jump to a desired channel while scanning, quickly turn the Tuning control. • To reverse the scan direction, turn the Tuning control or press Mic [UP]/[DWN]. 8 2 Press any key other than [F] or [ ] (Power) to stop All-Channel Scan. Note: ◆ You must have 2 or more Memory Channels that contain data, excluding special function Memory Channels (L0/U0 ~ L3/U3, Pr, and AL). ◆ You can perform Memory Scan while in CH Display Mode. While Scan is paused, the Channel number blinks. GROUP SCAN The transceiver scans Memory Channels in groups of 20 channels. When Menu No. 15 (M.CH) is set to 100, the transceiver uses 5 groups of 20 channels. When Menu No. 15 (M.CH) is set to 200, the transceiver uses 10 groups of 20 channels. 42 1 Press [MR] and turn the Tuning control or press Mic [UP]/[DWN] to select a Memory Channel in the range of the group you want to scan. 2 Press [MENU] (1s). • Scan starts from the selected Memory Channel number and ascends up through the channel numbers (default). • To reverse the scan direction, turn the Tuning control or press Mic [UP]/[DWN]. 3 Press any key other than [F] or [ ] (Power) to stop Group Scan.
