BEEP FUNCTION The Beep function provides confirmation of entry, error status, and malfunctions of the transceiver. We recommend you leave this function ON in order to detect erroneous operations and malfunctions. However, to turn the beep function OFF: 1 Press [F], [MENU] and turn the Tuning control to select Menu No. 24 (BP). 2 Press [MENU] and turn the Tuning control to select 11 "OFF". 55
