5.0 EFI Pro 16h Printer Setup This chapter describes set-up procedures for the EFI Pro 16h Wide Format Printer. Perform the tasks in this chapter when setting up the EFI Pro 16h Wide Format printer for operation. 5.1 Full Printer Startup From Power Down After a period when the printer has been completely shut down (see sections 9.2 and 9.3), perform the startup procedure as described below. Note: When the printer is in daily use, it is left in sleep mode rather than being powered down. Use section Printer Startup from Sleep Mode to wake the printer from sleep mode. 1. Ensure that all E-Stops are deactivated. The printer is in an alarm state until/unless the E-Stops are deactivated. 2. Ensure that negative pressure valves are open. 3. Ensure that main power to the printer is on and that the main power cable is properly connected. 4. Turn on all main breakers. 5. Turn on the printer's computer and monitor. 6. Press the green start button on the operator station keyboard tray. The printer is now ready for normal startup steps. See section Printer Startup from Sleep Mode.
