Receiving Faxes > Media Type for Print Output Media Type for Print Output Specify the paper type to be used for print output of the received fax. Supported paper types All Media Types, Plain, Rough, Vellum, Labels, Recycled, Bond, Cardstock, Color, Envelope, Thick, Coated, High Quality, Custom 1-8 For more information about configuring settings, refer to the following: FAX Media Type (page 8-8) Setting the cassette for the print output of received faxes By specifying the media type, faxes can be received on the corresponding cassette. 1 Display the screen. 1 [System Menu/Counter] key key > [Common Settings] > [OK] key key > [Orig./Paper Set.] > [OK] key 2 Select the cassette ([Cassette 1 (2) Set.] or [MP Tray Set.]) you want to use for fax reception. 3 Select the [OK] key. 2 Selecting the paper size. 1 [Cassette 1 (2) Size] or [MP Tray Size] > [OK] key 2 Select the paper size. 3 Select the [OK] key. IMPORTANT The following paper sizes can be used for fax reception. Inch models: Letter, Legal, Statement-R, Statement Metric models: A4, B5, A5-R, A5, Folio To specify the paper size, refer to the following: Machine's Operation Guide 3 Selecting the paper type. 1 [Cassette 1 (2) Type] or [MP Tray Type] > [OK] key 2 Select the paper type you want to use for fax reception. 3 Select the [OK] key. 4 Set the paper type. Configure paper settings for fax reception. When selecting the paper type, select the same paper type as you selected in step 3.
