UDP 8.3.2 Interface Mode The Interface (I/F) Mode is a bit-coded byte entered in hexadecimal notation. Use the following table to select Interface Mode settings: Table 27 - Interface Mode Options I/F Mode Option RS-232C (1) RS-422/485 (1) RS-485 2-wire (1) 7 Bit 8 Bit No Parity Even Parity Odd Parity 1 Stop bit 2 Stop bits 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 0 0 0 1 1 1 1 0 1 1 0 0 1 1 0 1 0 1 1 1 (1) The DSTni-XPress DR requires you to choose the correct setting in the IF mode, and to also set the front-panel switch for selection of RS-232/RS-485.
