IP Addresses 10.7 Private IP Networks and the Internet If your network is not connected to the Internet, and there are no plans to make such a connection, you may use any IP address you wish. If your network is not connected to the Internet and you have plans to connect, or you are connected to the Internet and want to operate your DSTni-XPress DRs on an intranet, use one of the subnetworks below. These network numbers have been reserved for such networks. If you have any questions about IP assignment, consult your Network Administrator.
