Getting Started 2.4 DeviceInstaller You can manually assign the IP address using DeviceInstaller software, which is found on the product CD. If you want to use a serial connection instead of an Ethernet connection to configure the device, go to Serial Port Login on page 2-13. 2.4.1 Install DeviceInstaller Software 1. Insert the product CD into your CD-ROM drive. The CD will automatically start and display the main window. If the CD does not launch automatically: a) Click the Start button on the Task Bar and select Run. b) Enter your CD drive letter, colon, backslash, Launch.exe (e.g., D:\Launch.exe).
