McAfee® GroupShield™ 7.0 User Guide 5 Integrating with ePolicy Orchestrator 3.6 Scheduling tasks 2 Click the Policy Name drop-down list and select New Policy. The Create a new policy dialog box appears. You cannot configure the McAfee Default policy settings for a selected Category. To configure a selected category, you must create a new policy or a duplicate copy of the Note policy for the selected Category. Table 5-1 Policy Options New Policy name Type the new policy name for the Category you want to create. Duplicate the following policy Creates a duplicate policy for the selected Category. Select the policy from the drop-down list. Create a policy in which all tabs inherit Creates a new policy in which all the policy tab settings are inherited. 3 Configure the required options from the original policy, then click OK to create the new policy. 4 Click Apply to save these settings. Editing an existing policy (Non-default) 1 Click for the selected Category in the GroupShield for Exchange entry in ePolicy Orchestrator details pane. 2 Configured the required options, then click Apply to save the policy. To stop a policy enforcement, click Edit for Enforce Policies in the GroupShield for Exchange entry in ePolicy Orchestrator and select (No) from the Policy Name drop-down. Note Scheduling tasks When GroupShield scans for viruses, spam or phish, it uses information in the DAT and Rule files to find them. Many new threats are discovered daily and McAfee regularly creates new DAT files to provide protection from these viruses. To ensure the best protection, you can use ePolicy Orchestrator to inform where to access the latest update files and create schedules for replacing earlier DAT and Rule files and running on-demand scans. Using ePolicy Orchestrator 3.6, you can create these types of scheduled tasks for the GroupShield for Exchange software: AutoUpdate 55
