For this command to succeed, the remote modem must have received the AT\U command. The modem sends two link requests (18 seconds) and if the remote modem does not respond the modem returns to normal mode. Accept an MNP Link \U Forces the modem to return online and accept an MNP link independent whether the modem originated or answered the call. For this command to succeed, the remote modem must have received the AT\O command. This command causes the modem to wait indefinitely for the remote modem to issue the "originate MNP link" command.
