Select images to protect or cancel protection from the image selection screen (A56). Note that formatting the memory card permanently deletes all data including protected files (E106). Rotate Image Press the c button (playback mode) M d button M Rotate image M k button Specify the orientation in which saved images are displayed during playback. Still images can be rotated 90 degrees clockwise or 90 degrees counterclockwise. Images that were saved in the "tall" orientation can be rotated up to 180 degrees in either direction. Select an image from the image selection screen (A56). When the Rotate image screen is displayed, use the multi selector JK or rotate it to rotate the image 90 degrees.
