Slot Empty Release Lock Press the d button M z menu icon M Slot empty release lock M k button Set whether or not the shutter can be released when no memory card is inserted in the camera. Option Release locked (default setting) Enable release Description Unless a memory card is inserted in the camera, the shutter cannot be released. Even when no memory card is inserted in the camera, the shutter can be released. However, Demo mode is displayed on the image captured when no memory card is inserted and the image cannot be printed or saved on a memory card, although the image is displayed on the monitor.
