Toner save feature If you want to reduce toner consumption, set the toner save setting to ON (feature #482 on page 82). The toner cartridge will last approximately 20 % longer. When the display shows the following, replace the toner
cartridge.

To check the drum life and quality, please print the
printer test list (page 137) and refer to page 140 for
information on the drum life. If printing quality is still
poor or
REPLACE DRUM
appears on the display,
replace the toner cartridge and drum cartridge.
