ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES User Function Keys F1, F2 (Function 26) Ref.: FAX2000L Operator's Manual, page 76 FAX2000L Function 35, Program User Function Key, has been changed to Function 26 for the SFX2000M. When the Operator Manual calls for Function 3 5 press Function 2 6. SFX2000M has two User Function keys, named F1 and F2, on the Quick Dial key panel. They can be programmed with the User Function Codes described in the FAX2000L Operator's Manual on page 76. You can use Function 26 to program the keys while the SFX2000M is in either a DI or PSTN Mode. However, only two of the six codes will be recognized in the DI Mode: Print Journal, Code 01, and TTI On, Code 02. The remaining codes affect PSTN G3 communication and the keys programmed with them are effective only when in PSTN Mode. • Print Journal. F1 has been programmed at the factory to print the Journal. For all modes except for Terminal Mode, press F1 Start to print the Journal. See page 16 for F1 in Terminal Mode. • TTI On. A User Function key can be programmed to turn TTI on or off. The User Function keylight will be on when TTI is on. Pressing the key will turn off the TTI and the keylight. This is useful for scanning images to the PC when the Secure PC Interface option is installed. Function 26 in DI Mode i. programs, changes and erases the User Function keys, ii. prints the Quick Dial/User Function List which shows all Quick Dial keys, including User Function keys and keys stored with keystroke programs. The User Function keys are printed with descriptive Function Names. No label programming is necessary.
