ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES Digital Interface Modes (Function 35) The SFX2000M recognizes four types of protocols for communication through the digital interface, (1) MIL-STD-188-161D, (2) Ricoh MG3, (3) Compatible, and (4) Asynchronous. Each type is defined further by parameters that can be selected during programming. (The available selections are shown preceding the programming directions of each protocol.) The SFX2000M arrives from the factory with 13 pre-programmed Digital Interface protocol modes numbered 00 to 12. With Function 35, you can add up to 87 new protocols. To facilitate service and technical assistance we advise that you create new protocol modes instead of revising the pre- programmed ones. A list of programmed protocols, titled the DI Parameter List, can be printed with either Function 35 or Function 47 (page 73). Digital Interface Modes (Function 35)
The SFX2000M recognizes four types of protocols for communication
through the digital interface, (1) MIL–STD–188–161D, (2) Ricoh MG3,
(3) Compatible, and (4) Asynchronous. Each type is defined further by
parameters that can be selected during programming. (The available
selections are shown preceding the programming directions of each
protocol.)
The SFX2000M arrives from the factory with 13 pre–programmed Digital
Interface protocol modes numbered 00 to 12. With Function 35, you can add
up to 87 new protocols. To facilitate service and technical assistance we
advise that you
create new protocol modes
instead of revising the pre–
programmed ones.
A list of programmed protocols, titled the
DI Parameter List
, can be
printed with either Function 35 or Function 47
