ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES Quick Dial Key Characters (Function 38) The Quick Dial keys are programmable with ASCII codes. You can replace the factory-programmed characters in the shifted Quick Dial keys with other characters. The unshifted Quick Dial keys cannot be changed. See page 16, "The Quick Dial Key Table", for factory programmed characters. New Hex Values are entered with Quick Dial keys and the keypad. Programming Quick Dial Keys Ready READY COMPATIBLE 10:00AM MODE06 Press Function 3 8 Yes QUICK/e PRINT LISTe Press a Quick Dial key. For example, 01 01 KPAD/Y ASCII CODE:21 ! Enter new ASCII code. For example, 7 E 01 KPAD/Y ASCII CODE:7E ~ Press Yes 01 KPAD/Y PROGRAMMED The PRINT LIST display will return. Press Function to return to READY display.
