INSTALLATION  Mark the middle holes on the left and right of the bracket.  Secure the bracket in place by installing self-tapping screws in the center holes on the left and right sides of the bracket. Tighten screws with a 10 mm socket. Wooden Sectional Door Bolt Nut Door Bracket Center Line NOTE: For wooden doors, drill hole completely through the door and install bracket using bolts (not provided) and nuts (not provided), see figure 42. To install the bracket on single-panel doors:  Lower the garage door completely.  Using a pencil and a level, draw a vertical line in the center of the top portion of the garage door.  Extend the line across the top edge of the door.  Place the door bracket on the top edge of the door and center it on the line. NOTE: The bracket can also be placed on the front upper portion of the door if necessary.  Mark the holes in the bracket.  Secure the bracket in place using screws. Tighten screws with a 10 mm socket. NOTE: For wooden doors, drill hole completely through the door and install bracket using bolts (not provided) and nuts (not provided). Lower the garage door completely.

Place the door bracket on the top edge of the door and
center it on the line.
NOTE:
The bracket can also be placed on the front upper
portion of the door if necessary.
