Section 8 Store Emergency Numbers 1. In standby mode, press the center select key ( ) Menu, then press , for Security. You're prompted to enter the lock code. The default lock code is the last four digits of your telephone number. 2. Enter the lock code, then press for Emergency #. 3. Press , , or to select from the three entry openings. 4. Enter the emergency number (up to 20 digits in length). 5. Press to save the number that you entered. Call Emergency Numbers in Lock Mode 1. In standby mode, enter the emergency number via the keypad. 2. Press to place the call. Voice Privacy Voice privacy allows you to prevent those you call from seeing your number in their display when receiving your call. Voice privacy options are Standard and Enhanced. 1. In standby mode, press the center select key ( ) Menu, then press , Security. You're prompted to enter the lock code. 2. Enter the lock code. The default lock code is the last four digits of your phone number. 3. Press for Voice Privacy. The following options listed appear in the display. • Standard: Voice privacy is disabled. • Enhanced: Voice privacy is enabled. 108
