Retrieveing New Messages When you receive a message in standby mode, the ringer sounds, (unless turned off), and New Message appears in the display along with the closed envelope icon ( ). The date and time of the message also appear in the display. • Press the left soft key ( ) Ignore to return your phone to standby mode. The message is saved to your inbox where you can view it later. • Press the right soft key ( ) View to open the message, where you have the option to Reply, Forward, Erase, Save Text, Save Msg, Save Contact, or block sender. To view the message without disconnecting the call: • Press the left soft key ( ) Ignore to ignore the message and save it to your inbox where you can view it later. • Press the right soft key ( ) View to open the message, your call remains connected. When you receive a message in standby mode, the ringer
