Using the test tone Test tones (white noise) can be output from each speaker to confirm their connections and adjust their trim values. They can also be used to change sizes and delay values. 1. On the Home Screen, select Settings > Audio settings > Speaker settings > Test Tone. This opens a Speaker Setting Screen with the currently set channel configuration. Example with 7.x and C+LR+LssRss+LsrRsr settings This outputs a test tone from the speakers in counterclockwise order starting from the L speaker. Example: when set to 7.x and C+LR+LssRss+LsrRsr, tones will be output in this order: LwCwRwRsswRsrwLsrwLsswL. 2. Press the ENTER button while a speaker is highlighted yellow to enable changing its speaker size, trim and delay settings. The current size, trim and delay settings for the highlighted speaker and its paired speaker will be shown at the bottom left of the screen. 3. Use the same procedures as for channel configuration to adjust the size, trim and delay. NOTE The test tone cannot be used to adjust the subwoofer. 42 TASCAM BD-MP4K
