( Find ng Your Favorite Programs ~~ Finding Your Favorite Programs The TiVo Plus service provides many ways to quickly search large numbers of TV programs, find your favorites, and schedule recordings. The following options are very useful if you already know what program you want to record. You can also use any of them to just browse through TV listings for interesting programs: Use Guide Options to filter the TiVo Live Guide, Search by Title, Browse by Time, Browse by Channel. ~ Using Guide Options With TiVo Plus, the TiVo Live Guide shows you current and upcoming programs airing up to two weeks into the future (instead ofthe three days you get with TiVo Basic). You can also quickly set up recordings, rate any program with a Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down, and customize the channels and types ofprograms shown in the guide. Plus, the TiVo Live Guide is a transparent screen, so you won't miss anything while you browse. Customize the TiVo Live Guide: Your DVR uses channel lists to decide which channels the TiVo Live Guide displays. With TiVo Plus, Guide Options are also available that let you quickly change which programs and channels the guide shows. To see Guide Options, press GUIDE to display the TiVo Live Guide, then press DISPLAY (or ENT). The available options are Channels, Day, Time, Filtering, and Choose filter. Channels. Choosing a list here selects the channels displayed by the TiVo Live Guide. Also, the CHAN UP/DOWN button skips to channels that are on the chosen list.
