C Safety Instruc)ions DANGER 1. This Digital Media Server employs a Laser System. Should this product require maintenance, ALWAYS contact an authorized service representative. Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure. To prevent direct exposure to the laser beam, NEVER open the product's cabinet. Visible and invisible laser radiation may be present when the cabinet is opened. NEVER STARE INTO THE LASER LIGHT BEAM. 2. When moving this product and television ALWAYS use a cart, table, stand or other apparatus specified and approved and/or sold by the television manufacturer. Quick stops, excessive force, and/or uneven surfaces could cause the television and this product to overturn. 3. NEVER compromise a television tip-over design standards by applying excessive pull force to the front, or top, of the cabinet, which could cause the television to tip over. 4. NEVER locate this product on the top of a television. To do so could compromise the television's tip over design standards that could cause the television to tip over. 5. NEVER locate this product on a shaky or unstable sUlface such as a wobbling table or inclined stand. Doing so could cause the product to fall. WARNING 1. ALWAYS keep your fingers clear of the closing disc tray. Failure to do so could result in serious bodily injury. 2. NEVER use cracked, deformed, or repaired discs. Discs are easily broken and could cause serious bodily injury. 3. NEVER open and/or remove this product's cabinet. This may expose you to high voltages or other hazards. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel only. 4. NEVER expose this product to rain or moisture. 5. NEVER use this product near water (such as a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, a damp or wet basement or near a swimming pool). 6. NEVER spill liquids or push objects of any kind into this product's ventilation openings or slots. Never place an object fill with liquids such as a vase on top of the apparatus. 7. NEVER make any changes or modifications to this product not expressly approved and authorized by Toshiba, or its authorized service representative. v
