Turn the computer on and make sure the available memory is recognized - to confirmed it, click Start -> Control Panel -> System and Security -> System. Installing/Removing a memory module (Slot C/D) To install/remove a memory module (Slot C/D), follow the steps as detailed below: 1. Shut down the computer - ensure that the Power indicator is off. 2. Disconnect the AC adaptor, all cables, and any peripheral connected to the computer. 3. Close the display panel. 4. Turn the computer upside down and remove the battery pack (refer to Replacing the battery pack section, if required). 5. 10. Turn your computer over.
11. Turn the computer on and make sure the available memory is

Start -> Control Panel -> System and
Security -> System

To install/remove a memory module (Slot C/D), follow the steps as detailed
below:
1.
Shut down the computer - ensure that the
Power

2.
Disconnect the AC adaptor, all cables, and any peripheral connected
to the computer.
3.
Close the display panel.
4.
Turn the computer upside down and remove the battery pack (refer to
Replacing the battery pack
section, if required).
5.
Remove the following KB screw used to keep the keyboard secure on
the underside of the computer.
