Adjusting Color Density Adjusting Color Density Calibrating Colors When colors look faded, adjust the toner color density to extend the life of the components. Print and use the Color Reference Page 1. In the printer's front panel press Help, scroll to Print Quality. Press Menu, scroll to Calibrate Colors, press Menu again and scroll to Adjust each Color. Press Menu again, the Reference Page front panel message appears, and press Print. 2. Compare the Color Reference Page to the Color Density Samples in the user guide. Make a note of the value (-10 to +10) for each color that most closely matches the samples. Place the Color Reference Page on at least two sheets of clean white premium laser paper in a well-lighted area and align the Color Density Samples over the Color Reference Page. 3. Decide which blocks on the Color Reference Page most closely matches the density of each color sample. In the printer’s front panel press
Help,
scroll to
Print Quality.
Press
Menu,
scroll to
Calibrate Colors,
press
Menu
again and scroll to
Adjust each Color.
Press
